I gained and gathered a plethora of new skills from the web design assignment. One of the design principles I implemented was embedding a Google Calendar on the website. One of the ways I could implement web design in my future career is to establish a social network for myself and for my craft. And it provides me with a space to speak personally about my experiences in my work in my profession.

I also gathered many new skills from using Diigo. This platform can be extremely useful for teachers in a multiplicity of ways. Educators and teachers can use this platform to create digital assignments that boost their student's cognitive skills and their social networking capabilities. Also, it is a social bookmarking and annotation tool that teachers and students can use together to collect online resources and annotate websites. And in my own profession, this platform can be useful for collaboratively sharing research and resources. 

Technology and teacher development are very very important! With the world ever-evolving and trends in technology constantly changing, it's a mandate that teachers equip themselves with the necessary skills for teaching and education in a technological-driven world. It is even beneficial for teachers to be in a position where they can contribute to these technological advancements.
